OUR OWNER
MATT AND MILLER DART
Matt and Miller have owned Pierce & Parker since 2016, when they took over the business from Miller’s parents, Jack and Fran Pierce. Matt’s background is in Management Consulting, with degrees from Georgia Tech and Northwestern University. Miller has an Accounting background, with a degree from Samford University. They both love design and are thrilled to be continuing the family business. Their children, Will, Liza and Lera, can often be seen running around the store, as well as their shop-dogs George and Rosie!
Jack & Fran started Pierce & Parker with friends in 1976 in Macon, GA. The business moved to St. Simons Island in 1980, taking over the storefront of Harvey & Harriet’s Furniture. They grew the store while raising two daughters, becoming a fixture on Frederica Road for over 35 years. They are now happily retired, chasing grandkids and doing a lot of fishing.
OUR DESIGN TEAM
LORI HARDEN
Lori Harden began working with Pierce & Parker after graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Furnishings and Interiors. Five years later, she returned to her hometown of Macon with her husband to raise their family and operate her own interior design business. She rejoined Pierce & Parker in 2012 when she and her husband moved back to St. Simons Island. Lori's innate love for people, plus her talent for creating interiors that reflect their lifestyle, have contributed to her nearly three decades of satisfied clients.
BRENDA REGAN
Brenda Regan joined Pierce & Parker in 2020. Originally from Statesboro, Brenda has spent 30 years working in retail and design. She has a Master’s in Interior Design from Brenau University, working as Lead Designer at White Interiors in Dawsonville, GA and later at her own residential design practice. She and her husband, Tim, moved to Saint Simons Island in 2018 and love being in coastal Georgia. Brenda enjoys designing creative, comfortable, and current designs for her clients, utilizing texture and color to give life to peaceful spaces.
CARSON JONES
Carson Jones joined Pierce & Parker in 2018. Originally from Atlanta, she graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2013 and moved to St. Simons Island in 2015. Carson has a great eye for what is fresh in design and is passionate about helping clients create comfortable spaces that feel both on-trend and timeless. She loves to make a space look its best while reflecting a client’s personal sense of style.
LAUREN LEDBETTER
Lauren Ledbetter joined Pierce & Parker in the summer of 2023 after graduating from The University of Georgia with a degree in Furnishings and Interiors. Lauren has a keen eye for all things classic, colorful and coastal. When she is not collaborating with fellow designers to create beautiful settings, Lauren enjoys finding unique antique pieces for her own home and spending time with her husband at the beach or cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs in Athens.
HANNAH MAY
Hannah May joined Pierce & Parker in 2022 to create inspiring spaces in our showroom while assisting on design projects. She enjoys creating updated and functional spaces and can identify the perfect pieces to take any room to the next level. When she is not visualizing how to fit the pieces together to create harmony in the showroom, she loves putting her musical talents to work singing and playing multiple instruments with her husband and son.
OUR ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM
GRACIE PETTY
Gracie joined Pierce & Parker in early 2023, using her considerable organization and administrative skills to support all the back-office functions of the business. Gracie, originally from Atlanta, has made a home here in southeast Georgia with her husband and daughter. When she is not coordinating the office’s affairs, she and her husband enjoy partaking in the local food and beverage scene, visiting the Jekyll Island beaches and exploring all the Golden Isles’ outdoor offerings.
ANNE MARIE SMITH
A Saint Simons Island native and Georgia Southern Graduate, Anne Marie joined Pierce & Parker in 2023 after a stint in Atlanta’s public relations and event coordinating scene. Anne Marie loves showcasing the beautiful spaces the Pierce & Parker designers create with their clients and highlighting the newest items that continually arrive at the back door. When she is not searching for the latest Instagram content, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their one-year-old daughter.
OUR DELIVERY TEAM
JARVIS LECOUNT & BRANDON MURRAY
Jarvis and Brandon are our delivery men, furniture assemblers, and all-around problem solvers. When Jarvis isn’t organizing the back of the store, he loves spending time with his three kids. Brandon trains athletes on the weekends while hanging out with his young son. They are often the last members of the Pierce & Parker team that our customers interact with, so it’s a good thing that they are so friendly and great!
